Top trophy for exciting hooker Crarey

EXCITING young hooker Joe Crarey has crowned a fantastic season by winning the Barrow and District League Mark Coward Trophy.

The former Furness Raiders Academy ace has shone for his club, Dalton, with his performances earning plaudits from both players and coaches in the league.

His influental displays for Dalton resulted in Joe being handed the trophy after being voted man of the match on the most occasions during the campaign – a fantastic achievement.

Crarey is the son of Barrow Raiders coach and former player Paul, with his dad said: “I am extremely proud of Joe, his consitency throughout the season for Dalton has been rewarded. I hope he goes on to achieve many more honours in the sport.”
