Bullock extends his stay with Barrow Raiders
HARD-RUNNING prop Joe Bullock has pledged his future to Barrow Raiders by extending his deal by a further two years, with an option of staying another year.
The outstanding youngster has shown tremendous form so far this season and is set to face York City Knights in Barrow’s League One opener at Craven Park this Saturday.
Bullock originally came on loan to the club from Leigh Centurions and quickly won the backing of the Barrow fans with his impressive shows.
He has also proved his talent off the field, becoming an ambassador for the club with his work in the community and Barrow’s academy set-up.
“Keeping Joe at the club is excellent news, not only for his playing ability but for all the work he does in the community and with the academy,” said director of rugby Andy Gaffney.
“I am pleased to have reached a deal with Joe as he is an important player for us as we look to continue in the development of the squad.
“Players like Joe don’t come along very often and extending his stay with Barrow means we can continue to keep a very strong pack for the battles ahead.”
